FOCUS on Health - The purpose of our organization is to promote happy, healthy individuals with a lifestyle that works for them.

Join Team Member Jessica as she walks 60 miles to raise money for Breast Cancer Awareness –There is nothing more rewarding than supporting a cause that is near and dear to your heart. The Breast Cancer 3-Day is a 60-mile walk over the course of three days. Net proceeds benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure and National Philanthropic Trust, funding important breast cancer research, education, screening, and treatment.

Associated Press: Guidelines urge Women to excercise, trim fat, and consider Aspirin to curb heart, stroke risk – Nearly all American women are in danger of heart disease or stroke and should be more aggressive about lowering their risk – including asking their doctors about daily aspirin use, the American Heart Association said Monday in new guidelines.

Ongoing: Locate a Flu Shot Site – LSI supports the collaboration efforts of the City of San Diego and its partner Hospitals, to protect all adults & children in the Community from vaccine preventable diseases such as Chickenpox, Diptheria, Hib, Hep A, Hep B, Measles, Mumps, Polio, Pertussis, Rubella, Tetanus, and Pneumococcal Disease. FOCUS on Environment - LifeStyles INFOCUS also supports a promise to conduct our business as a responsible steward of the environment and to not disrupt the natural order and health of the earth.  We continually seek out suppliers, products and techniques that minimize adverse effects to the environment.

Ongoing Volunteer Opportunities – Volunteer for I Love a Clean San Diego, The San Diego River Park Foundation, the Global Energy Network Institute, and much more.

Ongoing: Surfrider Foundation - Beach Cleanup: –The San Diego Chapter of Surfrider, and San Diego Coastkeeper, coordinate cleanups two times a month. On the second Saturday, we cleanup a North County San Diego beach (Oceanside to Torrey Pines), and on the fourth Saturday of every month we cleanup a beach in South County San Diego (La Jolla to Imperial Beach). To help out at an already coordinated cleanup, all you have to do is show up. For all beach cleanups, please wear comfortable clothes, closed toed shoes and sunscreen. We provide the gloves, bags, hand sanitizer and other essentials for cleaning up trash. Come on out and take in the salt air, light San Diego coastal breezes and help keep our gorgeous beaches clean and safe.

FOCUS on Community - LifeStyles INFOCUS believes in helping the communities from which we draw our customers, staff and resources.  LifeStyles INFOCUS involvement includes local schools and local clubs such as the Boys and Girls Club, Soroptomist and Kiwanis.  We support those in need through organizations such as Make a Wish Foundation, American Cancer Society and MADD.  Our goal is to help improve the lives of our customers and staff and to make their world and ours a better place to live.

Ongoing: Hands on San Diego – You've heard of a walk-a-thon...what about a serve-a-thon? During Hands On San Diego, volunteers like you will complete hundreds of projects for a diverse group of nonprofits and the hundreds of thousands of San Diego County residents they serve. Recruit everyone you know and invite them to join you in a volunteer project!

FOCUS on Financial Health - LifeStyles INFOCUS knows that the relief of financial stress contributes to a healthier and wealthier lifestyle, on many levels. LifeStyles INFOCUS supports Total Wealth Management in their efforts to educate the community at large through SOFA (The Society for Financial Awareness).
